The summit provides training to employment providers, employment professionals, families, and individuals who believe that employment is the path to self-determination. 

Focus on postsecondary transition, including agency collaboration, postsecondary transition assessments, postsecondary planning, community partnerships, employment, independent living, technology, postsecondary education, compliance, and instructional practices. 

Middle school is the perfect time to introduce students to real-world skills that build confidence, responsibility, and independence. At this age, students are ready to move beyond simple tasks and begin connecting their learning to real-life experiences and future opportunities.
