Each year at the CEC Convention & Expo, thousands of special education professionals from around the world come together to learn, share, grow, and connect. With over 400 sessions on just about every topic in the field, the CEC Convention & Expo is THE professional development event for special educators to find research, tips, and strategies you can actually apply to supporting students with disabilities and/or gifts and talents.

This Year's Convention

The Annual Convention offers two stellar Keynote presentations this year, pulling from CEC 2026 Themes on Innovative Access, Innovation Redefined, and Beyond the Labels: Rewriting the Story of Special Education.

Throughout the Convention, there are special events including the Yes I Can Awards, the Opening Reception, the Awards and Recognition Luncheon, the CEC Connect Division Social, and the CEC Celebration, to name a few.
